How and when do I pay for the order?

After purchasing TCIJ’s cakes simply select the "Checkout" button at the bottom of the "Products" page and you will be taken to the Checkout Center where you will provide us with your payment information. You may pay using a credit or debit card. Orders made by phone can be paid by credit or debit card, business check or money order.

How soon will my order ship?

Upon receipt of a completed order (including payment), we guarantee your order will be shipped anywhere in the continental United States within seven to ten business days. You must provide a street address; we cannot ship to a P. O. box address.

Are there any shipping charges?

There is no shipping and handling fee for orders of 12 cakes or more.  For all orders of less than 12 cakes there is a $5.00 shipping and handling fee.

What is your guarantee policy?

We are committed to our customers' complete satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied, we will exchange your item or refund your money. We do this without a hassle or making a fuss.

What is the expiration date or shelf life of an "unopened" cake in a jar?

TCIJ products are baked directly in mason jars and vacuum-sealed. We guarantee that these cakes will stay fresh and delicious for 6 months from the date they are sealed. Be sure to review the expiration date provided on the label. We offer this guarantee ONLY IF the jars remain unopened. Also, keep in mind that TCIJ products must be stored in a cool dry place to guarantee freshness. Once the seal is broken, our cakes will remain edible for up to three days.

What size is the jar?

TCIJ products are baked in pint-size Mason jars. Usually, you can get five to seven generous cake slices from each jar.

How do I get the cake out of the jar?

Once the vacuum seal is broken, the entire cake will slide right out of the jar. Simply turn the jar upside down. Please not that in rare instances, the cake may not slide out. When this happens, use a kitchen knife and run it along the inside wall of the jar. Then turn the jar upside down.

Is there a minimum order amount?

There is no minimum or maximum order amount.
